Whereas Mission is what we are called to do, Vision is our dream of what it will look like. Living Word has a vision for reaching the Asian American community in Dallas with the life-changing Gospel of Christ. As we look into the next few years, this is what we see with the eyes of faith...
				By faith we see…the Asian American community in Dallas impacted and transformed by the reality of the Gospel. We see men and women turning from the false gods of materialism, power and prestige to a new life filled with the joy, hope, and strength of the Living Christ. By faith we see…a place where the distant are brought near, the discouraged are lifted up, the disappointed discover new hope, and the displaced find a loving family of faith.
		By faith we see…the faces of a 300-member congregation drawn from many nations joined together as one people in sincere, joyous worship of God. By faith we see…a community of faith passionate about knowing and practicing God’s Word in daily life. We see the power of the Scriptures producing a transparent, vital Christianity testimony to the world. By faith we see…every member of our church equipped for significant ministry through discovery of the gifts and abilities God has given them.
		By faith we see…moments of deep fellowship and unity as members share their hearts, encourage one another, and enjoy the goodness of God’s grace together. We see our friendships deepening even as more join our group. We see an ever-widening circle of love and caring as our lives weave around each other. By faith we see…a building rising up from the plains of Dallas as a beacon of hope in a dark place. We see a beautiful yet simple worship center seating hundreds, classrooms busy with Bible studies and committee meetings, a fellowship hall resounding with the voices of friends gathered to enjoy a meal together, and a peaceful garden drawing us to personal meditation and small group prayer.
		By faith we see…a children’s worship area filled with hundreds laughing and singing praises to God. We see well-trained and caring teachers working in clean and safe facilities, compassionately guiding our children in laying a firm foundation for their faith. By faith we see…regularly sending hundreds of our members on short-term missions trips around the world. We see the walls of our church lined with the pictures of 100 career missionaries supported in prayer and giving. By faith we see…one daughter church planted in the Dallas area within five years. In ten years, we see a family of ten multiethnic churches coming out of Living Word, all working together to reach our city with the Gospel of Christ.
